Orde’s 18th Annual Terry Fox School Run was another huge success as all students from Grades 1 to 8 gathered at Queen’s Park and ran their hearts out in memory of Terry Fox.
Our students ran 4575 laps—the equivalent of 1,373 kilometres!
Orde’s ongoing commitment to raise awareness and funds for the Terry Fox Foundation is a long standing tradition, and we are so proud to share that we have surpassed our fundraising goal. Since Orde Street PS began this tradition, the school has now raised over $100 000 for cancer research. Thank you for being a part of this monumental achievement!
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Thanks to Mother Nature for her cooperation. The sun was shining and the skies were blue. We all ended our day out in the back field enjoying a cold popsicle.
The online fundraising page will stay active for another few weeks. Pease consider making a donation by visiting our school’s fundraising page: Orde Street Terry Fox Run
